Our team member DAVID VISHNOI has personally reviewed the very renowned operating system these days that is REMIX OS by JIDE inc. .
Must say being a developer really their work is appreciable and hats off to the concept.
It doesn't require any drivers for graphic processing ,wireless LAN ,Ethernet or Bluetooth.
All are recognized by the OS itself.
The UI is Perfect and most likely like a Linux.
And Being a part of android open source program it is really cool, NOW you can use all your favorite apps on the pc and that too without Lags.
PROS:
- Awesome UI
- Android OS ie: Access to more than 5 lakh+ apps and games.
- Very fast Boot.
- Compatible with dual boot.
- No Lag so far.
No need of drivers.
CONS:
- Can only be installed on a FAT32 file system drive ie: A 3.0 Flash Drive.(can be used on hard disk with little bit of tweaks).
- File manager shows only 4 GB user memory available.
- While booting it asks whether to resume from previous user data or do a fresh start ,which is pretty awkward. I mean who wanna reset his pc every time he turns it on.
- While password protection turned ON,we wake it up from sleep then it doesn't take any input from the keyboard
